Item Scyte of the said manor edified with
the hall buttery kitchen and chambers and all other houses
garners barns and stables necessary with the orchards
gardens containing in itself by estimation 2 acres.
Item A close in three parcels lying to
the barns of the said manor now called the Long Close the
wood called Pengethley Wood of the north part and the common
way leading to Monmouth of the south part abutting upon the
site of the said manor towards the east and the land of John
Abrahall Esq towards the west cont by est 8 acres.
Item the wood called Pengethley Wood
lying between the said Long Close on the south part and the
lands of John Abrahall, Thomas Higgin, and Thomas Kerley
gent of the north and abutting upon the lands of the said
manor called the Perryfields and Fetches Croft towards the
east and the land of the said John Abrahall towards the west
cont by est 16 acres.
Item Moor east called the Perrifields
lying between the lands n orth of Thomas Kerley gent and
John Abrahall Esq of the north part and the lands of the
said manor called Fishpole field of the south part and
abutting upon the land of the manor called the Grane field
towards the east and the Fetch Close and wood aforesaid to
the west cont by est 30 acres.
Item At the east end of the said field
lying one other field called the Grane field between the
lands of John Abrahall of the north part and the lands of
the manor called Gatelecroste of the south part and abutting
upon the lands of Henry Panghane and the lands and grove of
this manor of the east part and the said Perrifield and
Fishpool field cont by est 30 acres on the west.
Item One piece of land Grove Hill lying
est of Grove field aforesaid between the land of aforesaid
viz the land of Henry Vaughan of the north and the land of
Thomas Agrove of the south-east abutting upon the land of
Robert ap Pye and west upon the Grove field aforesaid and
cont by est 5 acres.
Item. One Grove of wood of 14 years
growth called Gatleyscroft Grove without parcel of pasture
thereunto adjoining towards the north cont by est one acre
and half the said pasture and grove lying together between
the land of this manor called Gatleyscroft and the Grove
field of the west and the lands of Laurence Vaughan and Th
Agrove and Robert Ap Pye of the south and north of the lands
aforesaid and the land of Th Agrove 5 ½ acres.
Item One field called Gatleyscroft
between the Grove field of the north and the land of the
said manor called Hellygaye of the southabutting upon
Gatleys Grove and the land of Robert ap Pye and the lands of
this manor called Fishpool field towards the west cont by
est 9 acres.
Item One field divided into two parcels
with groves called Helligay lying between the said close
called Gatleyscross and the lands of Robert ap Pye of the
north and the Kings highwaye leading from Ross to Hereford
of the south and abutting upon the common way leading from
the cross of the hand to the Grove on the east and the lands
of this manor called the Lower field towards the west cont
by est 26 acres.
Item One field called the Lower field
without Grove and a meadow Plat lying between the Kings
highway as aforesaid on the south and the lands of the manor
Fishpool Hill and Gatleys Croft of the north and abutting
upon Helligay towards the east and the Green Close towards

Item one field called Fishpolefield lying
between Gatlescroft of the east and the fytchcrofte of the
west and abutteth upon the perryfireld towards the north and
the lower field toward the south cont by est 30 acres
Item two croftes now lying in a piece
called Fytchecroft between the Perryfield and Fishpolefield
and the wood of Pengethley and the scyte of the manor of the
west and abuttynge on Perryfields towards the north and
Green Close to the south and cont by est 6 acres

adjoining to the scyte of the manor lying between the said
scyte and the Fytchesfield of the north and the Kings
Highway of the south, the east head abuttyinge upon the
Lower Field and the west head upon the way leading from the
manor and cont by est 10acres

pastures lying in one called the Horseles between the kings
highway of the north and the meadow of the said manor called
the Slade of the south and abuttynge upon the Walnuttree
Close toward the west and the Waynefield toward the ease and

called the Slade lying between the Horseles and the further

Field between the land of John Seymor on the north and the
land of Robert Peterstowe of the south and abutteth upon the
land now in the tenure of Robert Hawker of the east and the

Vaughan’s Close lying between the said way from Abergavenny
to Ross of the south and the lands of Philip Smith and John
Hey and the land in the tenure of Roger Hawker of the north

Item In the further field one acre of
land abutting upon the aforesaid way toward the south and
the land of the this manor towards the north viz between
the lands of John Seymour both of the parts east and the

upon the said way toward the south and the land of Phillip
Seymour called Parrocks of the north between the lands of
the north of the said john Seymour of the west and the land
in the tenure of the said Roger Hawker of the west cont in

of this manor and John Seymour toward the south and the

land of this manor and the land of this manor on the north

Item In the same field in the north end
of the same piece lieth one other piece between the meadow
of this manor and the land of Phillip Seymour and the
Parrocks of the east and the land of this manor on the west
and abutteth on the Slade of the north and the land
aforesaid and the lands of Phillip Smythe and John Hye and
lnd in the tenure of Roger Hawker cont by est 2 ½ acres.
Item One other piece lying to the said
piece between the said piece and the lands of John Hye of
the east and the lands of the said Phillip Smyth of the west
abutting upon the land of the said Phillip and John Hye
